Agora gas was created to provide liquidity for the gas spot market and to enable parties in the spot market to trade while incognito. Agora gas plays an important role in the spot market by securing gas which would normally be too small for producers to market.

The most recent company in the group, Agora Retail was created to provide gas retail services to the gas market in the Mid-West and South-West distribution system. Agora Retail offers traditional retail services but offers more flexible services as well as the traditional model.

gasTrading Australia was the next company created in the group. gasTrading offers different specialised services to PCS. gasTrading’s focus is mainly on gas supply management services conducted on behalf of the customer. In addition, gasTrading runs a spot market where gas buyers and sellers can come together and exchange gas surpluses with those who have a gas shortfall.

Project Consultancy Services was the first company in the group and was formed by the principal, Mike Lauer over 25 years ago. PCS provides specialised services in project evaluation particularly in gas an electricity purchase projects, technical and commercial strategy development and commercial structuring.
